Did the tech package on the 09 MDX receive an overhaul similar to other Acura models?

I'm looking at MDX's and haven't been able to get in front of an 08 tech and a 09 MDX tech yet.

I'm curious to know about this as well, or were there any other updates to tech system for new models too.

I'm thinking one item may be the powered tail gate. Our '08 is manual and I understand there was an option for the powered unit in '08. I could be wrong though..

My understanding is that the PTG was part of the entertainment package until mid-year on the 08's, then it became part of the tech package. That is why some 08 have it and some do not. All 09 Tech's had the PTG.

PTG was part of the entertainment package in the earlier years and I always assumed that the idiots at Acura assumed that you sat in your driveway and watched the PTG go up and down as entertainment because DVD's are so much better on the living room plasma. It took Acura a while but they eventually realized that the PTG was not for entertainment.
