Just got the bad word that my rear shocks need replaced, dealer wants 740 per shock. I might be able to find them lower. I am considering replacing the electronic shocks with the standard shocks. Now the question...If I decide this is the route I am taking I assume that both front and back should be replaced. Before I get lambasted for doing this, my car has 163,000 on it and we will probably be trading it in within the next year. Other than the handling suffering a bit it there any other downside to this?
