02 acura mdx

My brake lights wont turn off and when I push the petal the third light lights up the bottom ones wont turn off cuasing me to fail inspection any clue how to fix this?

Sounds like the brake switch / stop pad.

It's like a $5 part

Idk

The lights stay on all the time when I turn my lights on the only one that works as a brake light is the 3rd brake light
