- will drop off car for 95,000 miles service on Friday. Getting a family discount as my brother in law works at the Acura dealer nearby. Valve adjustment, T-belt, water pump, tensioners, tranny oil change and VTM-4 change. Hopefully it'll resolve slightly rough idle and misfiring. Brother in law is going to make sure it runs 100%.

Issues(Resolved)?

The outside temp sensor's wires were cut, took it apart and fixed it.
Two of the vent registers have broken, fixed one, the other having already been fixed once was replaced.

22,000 miles last year with no other issues. These are awesome vehicles.

I just became the owner of a 2006 MDX Touring with Nav - sage on quartz - and I haven't seen it yet! Bought it on eBay and got a great price! I'm sure I'll have lots of questions and comments once I get the car and get to know it.

I test drove another 06 in my local area (PNW) and loved it! The one I found on eBay has the same miles (about 61K) and all the right colors and equipment, and I will have it delivered here for about 6 grand less than local dealers are asking for these cars. Thank you Internet!

I bought another Honda product (ST1300 touring bike) a few years ago, sight unseen clear across the country, and it was a good experience. Hopefully this one will be as good!

As any other MDX (2007-2010) owners observed any rust in the back of a/c console behind the drivers seat, it is going to be at the base of the console below the vents. You might have to push down on the carpet to oberve the brackets?

2006 MDX Touring w/NAV, sage on quartz, 62K miles, just bought it on eBay. Had it about 2 weeks, very happy with performance and comfort, not so happy with gas mileage in town. Barely 13mpg. And I have a mystery muffled buzz above 2000rpm in gear - doesn't do it in neutral - exhaust shop says it's not a leak. The research project led me here. Time to do some searchin'. If you have any ideas, or similar symptom, chime in. I'll start a thread after 5 posts if I can't find anything by searching.
