Haha. I'm still on the grey area. I don't have anything to compliment the black roof. My summer wheels will be grey-ish so yea. I'm not sure yet.

Hey, i've been looking for acura fans in edmonton forever, glad to finally find some.

I'm Taylor, live in southgate area, and drive a black RL. Not much done to it yet just tinted windows. Had some issues which set me back a few k :S but plan to do a couple things to it when it gets nicer out. Lip Spoiler and good rims are my top priorities so far.

@Darkness. - Nicel TL. The same car and color I originally wanted.

Welcome Taylor W! Yes something subtle like a lip spoiler can really set a car off. As for rims, hold off until more of these potholes are fixed lol. Otherwise you may have some refinishing to do. Not cool.

Myron how much did you pay for the vinyl from ack? Bluebat e-mailed me back and I'm a bit surprised at the price.

I think it came out to like 75$ but he paid for half the shipping. Shipping was like 50$ or something ridiculous like that.

K I need to contact ack and see if he has glossy cf. Bluebat gave me a quote of $210 shipped. That is some expensive ass vinyl. I don't think that includes the extra bit I would need to wrap the xm antenna since his are 1 piece.

holly shit man haha enough subs there buddy jk

I might be looking to just get a sub in the trunk as I hate that stock crap one. But I was looking into the shallow mount ones because I need my trunk space. There is a thread about it in the audio/video section.

Did you use the stock amp to power these new speakers? Are the speakers in the tsx different than the TL ones? We don't really have an option to install a head unit without making something custom and paying 392473479574$ for it and possibly having it turn out looking like shit.

there was a P3 rockford for sale on Kijiji and for a decent price too but i missed out on it. What kind of music do you listen to? I like rock/metal/ but I also like house and trance (I know a huge range of sound haha) so I am not really sure what to look for in a woofer

the shallow mounts r okk.. not the best when ur trunk is sealed off, it will give u a lil bit of extra bass tho, i'd say go wih 1 12" if u do end up with the shallows.. pioneer makes a good shallow mount sub, check em out at visions, go see my buddy John at the 34th ave visions tell him i sent u.. and yes im using the stock amp, i ran the low lever inverter from the rear speakers as there just used for bass.. its pretty easy to install.

i don't mind selling em, i used them for 1 month and needed the trunk space for when i went outta town n put my 10" in and haven't put the jl's back in.. i have the jl's boxes still in my room, i'd say i'll sell em to u for 225, subs were 119 each and box was 150, lemi know

I am not looking to rattle my car to shit with bass haha I don't listen to it that loud, ever. I am interested in SQ more than loud. But I will take a look at visions and try and compare prices with online prices. Crutchfield.ca has free shipping on stuff over 60$ I think and their prices are pretty decent.

I had the knocking after I lowered my car and it turned out to be the rear end links. It's a cheap fix, 60$ for both sides and you can do it yourself. Just need a ratchet set, 10mm, 12mm or 14mm wrench and you are good to go. Mine were a bitch to take off so I had to cut them off.

Do you just have to underneath the car to change that? I might do this as well if i get that knocking sound. *knocks on wood*

I'm thinking next saturday? Or friday night. I don't want to mount the wheels before they lower it, they might scratch it. lol.

And if you are willing to help me with my lip kit, I would really appreciate it. I'm willing to give you the dremel kit after everything gets done if you want it, I bought the Dremel 300 Series. http://www.dremel.com/en-us/Tools/Pa...pid=300-1%2f24
I will also provide beers

Did you find someone to install the springs?

You have to take the rear wheel off and then you can replace it. One on each side. It holds the rear sway bar.

I can only stay out till 10pm so if we do it friday I may not be able to help you finish it. During the day on saturdays I can do. Earlier the better

I get random rattles here and there. Sometimes I get a rattle from the rear when I have a passenger in the back. Other times it sounds like it comes from the doors and in every which spot. For a while, I had this annoying ass rattle and couldn't figure it out until I looked in my door and noticed.. it was my sunglasses. Fail.

Damn Arthur you are getting work done! How did the fender roll turn out? Did the paint crack or chip at all?

Yea I can't wait to get everything installed. The fender roll turned out great.

Guys is it okay to run with donut tires for at least a week? I hit a pothole today and blew my tire (there's a big hole on the sidewall). My tires are due for replacement and i don't want to buy a set of winter tires right now.

Yea I was thinking the same thing, the front right tire was shot so I'll probably switch the donut tire on the rear tomorrow. Thanks for the help, I'll just run with donut tire until I slap the bbs on the tl.
