what would you charge to detail a Dodge Sprinter??
ok so my company has a dodge sprinter that had decals all over it with the company name. the owner got them taken off and new ones put on with his other company's name but you can still see the shadowing of the old words.
so i brought some polish in with me today to try it out and it came off with some hand polishing and told the owner that i could do the whole thing.
He said to give him a price to do the wholehing inside and out, and said remember that he is cheap lol. (coming from a guy with a shore house, mercedes, and a porsche). and that i could just take it for the weekend and do it at home.
so what should i charge? i want the job, but its gotta be worth my time and low enough for him to go for it.
Im thinking about calling local shops and seeing what they would charge and then charging less than that ?

What's it worth to you?
While he may say he's cheap, I still wouldn't lower my standard. If he doesn't want to pay what I charge, then so be it. That's how I see it.

$175 haha... hey if you are ok with that then so be it. I'm with Excel on this one. If you are using a machine to polish the paint or doing anything other than a 1 step AIO you majorly sold yourself short. Oh well some times you have to do some freebies in order to get your work out there and gain referrals. Good luck.

I think 50 dollars an hour should be good if you are good at what you do.
