Cleaning steering wheel...

My type S wheel has some build up on the 12 o'clock position.What is a good product to remove this gunk? Thanks in advance

- Woolite and water mixture
- degreaser and water mixture
- steam cleaner
- leather cleaner
- Mr Cleaner Magic Eraser

Cleaner with a terry cloth towel would probably be easiest. I used Meguiar's Gold Class Gel with a towel on my mom's beige steering wheel and it worked pretty well. Steam cleaner would probably work better with a small attachment to loosen up any dirt around the wheel too and then follow up with a conditioner. Did my Q50 and my mom's EX35 seats with a steamer from Harbor Freight and they came out fantastic without any sheen from the dirt/oil buildup from driving the cars every day. Wanted to do it for a while on the EX since it was CPO and I'm glad I finally did.

Water & woolite solution, between 6-10 parts water to 1 part woolite depending on how heavy the soilage is.
