Lightbulb Post Specs Here......

Why doesn't everyone post their
1.Brand of Rim
2.Rim size
3.Offset
4.Brand of tire
5.Tire size
6.Drop amount
7.Do they rub.

That way any time someone is looking for wheels/tires, they have a quick reference of all the different circumstances in one location which is apples to apples.

I've noticed that people have posted specs before but leave out one factor or another, Which makes the comparison impossible.
Searching for all circumstances is nearly impossible.

Then Tanner could move it to the FAQ section in a few days after a good variety has posted.

People won't buy unless they are sure because you can't return em once you buy em.

Very informative guys, but can we add Brand and model of the rims too! Also, if you know the weight, that would come in handy when those of us without wheels go shopping!

Hey v_i_s_i_o_n, sheesh it's hard to type out your name! Since you mentioned 60mm offset, I believe there is an upper limit to the offsets! I'm not saying it won't work but there's gotta be a limit. 60 mm will set your wheel in 5mm more plus 3/4" (because your wheel is 8" wide, 1 1/2" wider than stock).

sutlTL, hehe you can just type vision =)

yeah i know there's a limit but if i knew that my rims came in an offset ranging up to 60mm.. i would have gotten 53-55mm offset.. at the time the shop told me the highest offset was what i have now 48mm.. 53-55mm would have been much nicer.. it would tuck a little more inside the well.. right now it tucks just a little inside the wheel well

Brand of Rim: Altstadt IV
Rim Size: 19x8.0
Offset: +47
Brand of tire: Yokohama AVS Sport
Tire size: 235/35ZR19
Drop amount: Comptech
Do they rub: I cut the plastic tab from the fender but they still rub with more than 3 people in the car if I'm taking a corner much faster than I should be going.

vision ... yup, that's much easier to type! If you had gotten more offset you could have goen to 235's or maybe even 245's! Did you see the Porsche in latest Car and Driver? Rear wheels were 12x18's with 315/35 tires! Now that's what I call WHEELS and TIRES!

My tire was inside the fender, the wall of the tire was about less than a 1 mm from the inside of the fender. Couldn't fit a credit card between the tire and fender. No problem in the front with either tire.

I had to dig this post up because I know a lot of you have gotten rims since the last post. All those who have already posted, make sure that you've attached pictures if you have them to really get this subject catalogued.
