Apologies to 2008whiteTL. For some reason I never got note of your post. But to answer the question, Tap the Talk button and speak "ring tone" and the setting should change. Speaking "prompt" sets the notification to the "incoming call" notification. The ringtone is nothing fancy, but the mate prefers it. Congrats on your purchase ^^^

When you toggle the Max brightness display button with the headlights on it changes the Nav screen from day to night mode.

So, I drive with my lights on and set the display to Max in the daytime and then toggle the button to dim the display and set the Nav screen to night mode when the sun goes down. Sure beats fooling with the Nav menus while driving.

Aiming your key fob at your chin doubles the range. This means that you can lock/unlock you car from further awAy...within reason of course.

I came to find out that the key fob (#2) that is missing the trunk release button actually has the button on the circuit board, you just need a new shell that includes the trunk release.

Lightbulb Auto headlights

I have a 2004 Acura TL and do not have the option of Auto for my headlight settings. It's either ON or OFF. HOWEVER....I found that I can have this "auto" always on feature by doing this. Leave your headlights in the ON position, take your keys out and exit the vehicle as you normally would. You will HEAR the headlight chime dinging because you left your lights on but do not worry! Once you exit the vehicle just hit your lock button on the key fob and your lights will shut off. Hit unlock, what happens? Your lights turn back on!
