Type S Wheels Selling Price Range??????
I bought a set of 17inch Type S wheels last winter for $500 with super shitty tires and curb rash on all the lips of every wheel. I grinded down the rash and sent them off to my powdercoater. He cleaned up the lips and powdercoated them in the Spanish gold color i picked out. I ordered brand new kuhmo tires and the nice metal steamed TMPS sensors. I was debating on getting a new car so i threw the wheels up for sale in a local facebook group for $1400 just to see if anyone would want to buy them in the area, and all i got was a hard time people telling me i was crazy for asking that price etc. I ended up keeping my TL. Long story short i would like to get an idea of what everyone thinks is a fair price for selling them when i do. Thanks!!

depending on condition, price ranges from $200-800.
since you've put in some work, they could be valued at the higher end.
plus tires.
depending on what tires you have and how much they go for retail....you could get another 400-500 for them
remember the rules of selling.
the market dictates price, supply and demand.
so, if no one wants them....then you'lll have to settle for a lower price.
i would keep it at the $1400 amount and drop 50 bucks from time to time

Since they're refinish; assuming all visual flaws are gone, with powdercoating, and new tires, if I were you. I would have a ceiling of $1050; this is just my pricing doesn't have to be yours, and if you are willing to negotiate, that depends on what your minimum will be.

Typically, in my area, they go for around $750 with tires. I've sold a set with no tires for $450, a set with bad tires for $600, and a set with good ones for $750.
The powdercoating is cool, but IMO doesn't add much value UNLESS you find a buyer who really loves the color and they find it worth the extra money. Most people would rather go with aftermarket and upgrade to 18" rim for $1400....
IMO $900 is where I'd list them at, and let them go for anything over $750.

While I realize mine aren't genuine Acura wheels, I got a brand new set of charcoal replicas on eBay from Tobacco Road for $400/shipped. A set of tires from Discount Tire and I was all in for like $700
