Rear Camber (ingalls, SPC, etc.)

I searched around all over these forums and the internet and still have not found the answer to my question. If i wanted to run a lot of negative camber in the rear, like ~-8 degrees. Are there any kits made that can achieve that without modification?

I'm lowered on function and form type 1's and I'm sitting at ~-3 degrees right now no other modifications.

I know many of you will disagree with my choice, but any help is appreciated.

The SPCs MIGHT get you there. I had to open them up to match the length of the stock arms. Fully closed, they MIGHT get you there, but I just don't know.

camber kits add/subtract from your existing camber. the ingalls is advertised as -1.5 to +3 so if you're currently at -3 then you will be able to go anywhere from -4.5 to 0. the spc one is rated from -2 to +4 so if you have both you can go from -6.5 to +4. so if you want -8 you'll have to lower your suspension some more to make use of that suspension geometry.

I don't think you'll make it negative 8 degrees. That's a lot of negative camber. But as was mentioned you could do the SPC and INGALLS rear kits to get the most negative camber possible.

Before i go ahead and order the kit i wanna give my shop a call and get an estimate price for the install. Work and schools too hectic right now and from what i understand its a pain in the ass DIY.

IMO, it's a fairly easy DIY. I bought mine from THMotorsports for $148.56 shipped. It was the cheapest price I could find. They shipped very fast. I was in a hurry, but if you have time, you might contact some of the Azine vendors and see if they can match that price.

The DIY is below. You don't need to replace the boots.

I just placed an order for the SPC upper arms - just want to confirm: so it's no longer necessary to replace the existing SPC boot? I did see your post in the link above regarding SPC stating they addressed the problem with the old boots tearing. I still debating whether to go ahead and switch them out or not. How are yours holding up thus far?

Well, it's only been 40 days, but they are fine. As I already noted, the only reports of cracking that I could find were with the old red boots.

I'd wouldn't mess with it.

Sounds good. Thx man

Definitely looking forward to getting my rear camber fixed. Toe is good at 0.01. But the camber went way out (especially on drivers side) after installing springs over 2 weeks ago.

-2.3 LR and -1.5 RR I'd like it more flush than it is...shooting for around -1.0
