2006 TL Varrstoen ES2 Fitment Question

Hey guys,

I'm about to purchase Varrstoen ES2's, but I can't decide between 18" and 19". My '06 TL is lowered ~1.6" on Tein S-techs. Any thoughts on this?

If I do go with 18's, the setup is easy: 18x9.5 +22 squared all around should be fine, since I don't have Brembos.

Do any of you guys have any idea how 19's would work out? I know that I can go 19x8.5 +35 in the front and 19x9.5 +40 in the rear, but I'd really like to avoid a staggered setup if I can since tire rotations become a real annoyance. Anybody have experience with a 19" squared setup on ES2's?

Thanks!

Not on es2's......but I'm sitting on Varrstoen es7's 19x9.5 +22 all the way around and it rides fine. You will have to roll all fenders as well as trim part of the tabs that connect the front bumper to the fender and possibly trim a minor amount of fender metal. However, it's really simple to do and as long as you do it right and have some experience with a dremmel. As far as the fender roll...make sure whoever does it uses an actual fender roller (not a baseball bat) as well as a heat gun so the paint doesn't crack. I have no issues with my ride and love it. Lmk if u have any other questions or want pics
