I'm considering getting a set of Niche Verona M150, but still don't know whether I want to do 19s or 20s. My first car was a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe and I ran 20s on it and I sacrificed all of the comfort of a new car lol. I just traded in a 2012 Jaguar XJL that I ran 22 inch Rennen Concave wheels on with 9" up front and 10.5 in the rear. Ride quality was still decent because of the electronic suspension. My main concern here is
1. Comfort = I've never dropped a car before and honestly dont want to either. How does it ride? Don't want to roll fenders though.
2. Price = 19" tires cost more and I don't want stretched tires, but in NYC it is a rim owners worst nightmare and having gone through my share of bent rims and such, I'm leaning towards 19s.
Any thoughts on 19 8.5" 40"front 19 10" 40" rear. FYI I have a 12 TL SH-AWD CBP with OEM lip kit.

Absolutely love your setup and was considering these rims but 19s and not as wide and thinking of doing a staggered setup on my CBP 12 TL. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for rims and tires and where did you buy? I'm new here.

For anyone who is in the market for aftermarket rims and can not decide between 19" or 20", because you feel that 20" rims will affect the ride quality (which was my main concern), I will suggest that you go with the 20's. "My Opinion" is that the ride feels about the same. I was told, and I am now a believer, that the type of tire will determine the ride quality, not just the amount of sidewall. Again, that is just "my opinion".

First time posting to the forum... Lot of nice rides! Had a quick question about fitment since I see so many different options on this thread. Here is what I want to do with my TL SH-AWD.
Wheels - 20x10 +35offset
Tires - 275/35/20
Vehicle is not lowered, and fenders are not rolled. does anyone have this setup, and does it fit without any modifications to keep the wheels from rubbing?
You won't rub unless you're lowered. I'd say go with the 255/35/20 though. 275 is more for the 20x10.5.
Thank you for the info.... I won't be lowering my TL, and chose 275/35 to have more rubber and protect the wheel. I'm in western pa, so with all the hills and terrible roads, I was trying to find the right set up to accomplish this.
Another quick question that I have for anyone who can help. I found a set of wheels that I like and wondered if they would fit. When I use the calculators online it seems like they would be fine. Just not sure about the poke. It says they would be an additional 8mm vs the 20x10 setup.

At those specs and stock height it's going to look "mexi flush". It will definitely poke and the tire size is thin. Most people run 40 series on the 19's. You shouldn't rub at stock height no matter how wide the wheels. It'll come down to how tall your tires are and drop which you won't be doing.
Haha, not looking for that mexi flush look, so I'm back to the research... Just trying to find the right setup for the deep concave and ride comfort. Potholes here eat cars alive, so need to sit on a good chunk of tire also.
Ok, I think this is the setup that will work. What do you think about tire options? If I go with 245/35/20 the poke will be about a half inch less than the other setup.

This thread helped me more than ever. Wasn't sure what set-up to run on the car but I've decided to get the TSW NURBURGRING Matte rims 20x8.5 w/43mm offset with 255/35/20 I'll post pics once I get them
my 19x10 has finally arrived in weds usa but will be another couple weeks before they get to Canada. can't wait to test fit them and then roll with them after this winter!

Depends on your offset. If it's not too low, you should be fine. Front may rub on full lock but the 4G has a lot of room under there. 245/35 is a sure bet though.

Not sure where you are getting these numbers from... Wheel width and offset determine how far out the wheel sticks, not the tire. I have run a 19x10 +24 in the rear and 19x9 +24 in the front, at stock ride height they stuck out like 2 or 3 inches from the fender. I was running - 3.2 degrees of camber in the rear and - 2.4ish in the front to get them inside the fenders. See above post for the car at those alignment settings
the car is in winter mode but decided test fit a front wheel. received these from weds a few days ago, they're 19x10 all around and detailed specs to be provides once properly mounted.

I have the same factory wheels. I honestly like the look of them... Just wish they were 2" bigger. After seeing them with a drop, I like them even more. I might just get the drop and hold off on the 20s for another year.
