2008 TL-S 6MT approaching 73,000 kms. I have a lose electrical connection that has caused the car to lose parts of the temperature display and the faded dash. Had the 3rd gear synchro issue fixed by Acura. Some squeaking under hood during the winter but otherwise, the car is very cheap to run.

whoa.. take it easy. Don't want to be changing the original brake pads or tires before the decades out.

Be careful or you'll end up like my friend. He bought his '06 IS350 just a month after I bought my TL. It has about 30k on it now and he's bored with it and looking for a new car. He regrets not driving it more and having more fun with it when he still liked it. To his credit, in those 30,000 miles it has probably done more burnouts, spun more donuts, and driven over more lawns than any other IS350 regardless of miles.

225K miles and still flies like the wind. Within the last year, I did the timing belt, valve adjustment, new clutch and flywheel, A/C compressor, motor mounts, new headlamp bulbs. Synthetic motor oil ALWAYS since new.

UA7 5AT. 104k miles, drives better than when I got it. Did some maintenance on it, shifts smooth, gets great MPG,
My rule of thumb is to take half of your current mileage on a Honda/Acura product; that's your true mileage

I think they mean that Honda/Acuras age well, sort of like dog year logic. A Honda with 100k miles and a Hyundai with 50k miles are about the same "age"

I'm closing in on 67K on my 07 TL-S 5AT and all is well, and 50K of them will be with me behind the wheel. I can never convince myself anything else is worth more money out of my pocket...I may end up keeping this forever and close in on 167K in 6 or 7 years.

Having owned the car since new I can honestly say it drives better now in many ways. There's no tell tale indication it has 131,000 miles. It's very solid.
I'm posting because I was thinking of the one item on this car that is an indicator of its miles. The steering rack gets a little on center play as it ages. I've replaced it once and may do it again in a few years. It's only noticeable on the freeway going straight. It's only noticeable when the alignment is set dead on zero toe. Any toe out and especially toe in disguises the slop in the rack and probably preloads any worn suspension components.

Has been pretty reliable so far. Just did 2nd timing belt/etc, so hope for a couple more years of trouble free driving
