What's the mileage on your 3G? Still going strong?

Finding a MT
Autotrader has a bunch….
Click on "More Search Optons" and then go down to "Specifications" and select "Manual" in Transmission option.
I just looked and they have 116 in the US, and 36 within 200 miles- that's really 115/35, because I just bought one from the 200 mile list.

I just bought an '05 TL with 133,000 miles. Engine is as quiet as new. I had ATF tested. Wear level of iron was about 3 times higher than it should have been. Reason could be that transmission fluid hadn't been changed in LONG time or, there is high wear. The analysis turned up that there were contaminants in the ATF. There were contaminants in the fluid. Contaminants can get in due to a leak and through the dipstick. My hunch is the engine bay got pressure washed frequently. I did 3 drain and fills with Renewable Lubricants (RLI) ATF. Theoretically, the tranny now has only 20% old fluid. I also bought a new dipstick. It does fit tighter. Below is the data from the fluid analysis. [dysonanlaysis.com provides top-notch analysis.]
Why do I use RLI ATF over Honda ATF? It works better. How do I know? I get it tested. On my Honda, I was able to get wear levels lower than with Honda ATF.
Analysis of ATF.

I bought an '04 TL back in November with 183K on it from a co-worker who had just had the transmission fixed. All I needed to replace were the brakes and rotors. She's currently at 187.5K, hoping to make 200K sometime this year. I thought that was high mileage for this car but after reading through the thread and seeing numbers well over 200K, I'm confident she'll go a lot farther (:

I'm at 75k in my 2006 TL 6sp MT. I think I'll try to get another 50k out of it, which at the rate I drive it will take 7-8 years.
I was looking to get a new Acura, but I think I will buy an AWD vehicle to compliment my TL as opposed to trading it in. Winters have been hard and long lately on the East Coast. I could use a vehicle that's good in the snow and which lets me haul yard waste to the dump in the Fall.

Idler Pulley and Headlights replaced @ 95,000; Power Steering pump replaced @ 120,000; Starter replaced @ 150,000......Engine and Trans are flawless, but I keep up with maintenance by the book! Next, is Alternator(Whining) and all shocks......No other car appeals to me till this day like these 3rd Gen TL's!!!

Great to hear all of these stories of long-lasting high mileage TLs. I do think this was maybe the best looking Acura ever made. But given what great service many have you have gotten from this car, have any of you considered (or gotten) a new TLX, which also is a very nice looking car imho?

You gotta f*cking be kidding me. This number will now forever haunt any wanton need/desire for a new car.
Amazing, man.

Original owner of a 2005 AT. 130K miles and plan to keep this car forever.
GOOD NEWS
It drives like a new car, no rattles & squeaks.
I love the paint job. Still looks like a new car despite the fact that it is not garaged.
No oil leaks. Not even a drop.
NOT SO GOOD NEWS
I did get a tranny rebuild @ 120K
And a bluetooth module replacement around 100K
Recently the NAV stopped working but fortunately it got fixed for free
OVERALL
Best auto purchase ever.
I cant find a NAV/audio system that is as good in any brand new vehicle.
FACTOID
This car was an emergency purchase in 2005 (replaced my stolen 1996 Acura Integra which also bought brand new and was spotless at 125K miles).

Will pass 240K miles in a couple of days.
Getting the compliance bearings installed right now. The mechanic couldn't believe the car has that many miles because it drives like it's new.

One on the right for me
I haven't really driven for shit this year. I'm just now at 250k. Change in offices gives me the chance to ride my bike into work so my mileage has dropped significantly. Not complaining.
