Two Acura TL Type S's under 9k
Hey ziners, I randomly hopped onto the new York Craigslist and ran Into not one but two 2007 acura type s tl's... A red one with 130k miles and a blue with under 100... CRAZY low price.. Same dealership too! I would totally jump on them but I live in Seattle so they're literally across the country and I can't make the trip. Oh and yes, they both have clean titles according to the posts. You're Welcome!!

Nice finds. Interesting how they're both being offered at the same price despite the KBP one having lower mileage and the A-spec kit, and of course being KBP, which appears to be the color coveted by most people who are looking to purchase a Type-S. Maybe the MRP one is in overall better condition...
Anyway, good luck with the purchase, and make sure you get it checked thoroughly.
BTW, that chromed out 06 TL in their inventory...WTF?!?!

Aww man tough break. Shouldn't have posted the ad on Azine lol.
Might be a good sign. Most of their cars have a sale price that is way lower than average. I know the ad says clean title, but I wonder if some of these cars may have a shady history. Hurricane Sandy cars perhaps...I don't know, but the prices just seem way too good to me. My two cents.

Yeah their prices are RIDICULOUSLY low. How would I be able to make sure they aren't flood cars? I'll ask for the car fax and tell them to send me pictures of the Vin number on the car but otherwise any way I can make sure?

Not sure if it's the same dealer but there was a thread here on AZ awhile back where a dealer in NY had crazy low prices advertised, but when you showed up to purchase, the price was wrong and was a typo. Suddenly the price was significantly more or you HAD to finance the car with them at some ridiculos interest rate. If its too good to be true, it probably is. I'm going to guess you saved yourself a lot of time, $$ and aggravation by the car being sold already.

WTF, a dealer put a car in their inventory like that? It blows my mind some of the things people do to their cars. Then a dealership tries to sell it like that? Haha. Do they not realize they can peel all that shit off and probably have a chance selling the car. Are they clueless?
OP, please save yourself the disappointment and grief and don't try and buy a beat up Type S from across the country and especially from a dealership like this. There is no telling what you are getting.

^^^^ JTS - someone did that to their car - on purpose. Dealer probably figures less they need to do to it the better - and there are other Jamokes out there that think is a nicely modded car. "There is one born every minute.".

Awesome LOL. Gotta love bullshit dealer tactics. Having a TL on the lot with all that chrome trim and listing cars at a price AFTER a down payment just takes the cake. Never buy a car from that dealer...whoever they are.

At least you know that AM TL had full protection from dings and scratches.
Or, it could covering them...

This is a down payment that the dealer is making? Because last time I checked, a price is the amount that I have to pay, and the down payment is part of that. This is just like those people/dealers that post only the down payment amount on craigslist as the price of the car instead of the full price. I ignore any places and listings that do this.

some stealer also had fine print, "price is good with 3000 down payment" or "or cash at $xx,xxx". If its too good then stay away from it, this is what happend think they get a deal in a life time.

HaHa, I came across those same cars and that same dealer recently while shopping online for a 3G 6MT.
I called a good friend who lives in New Jersey, and he said about 3 times: Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Sandy......
Then the dealership called me back later, and gee, it turns out, the price they were showing DID NOT include a $2500 down payment...
The girl did sound good though!
