Timing Belt Special still going strong @ $299 shipped

As we enter the travelling season I just wanted to remind Acurazine members that we are offerring a complete OEM timing belt kit for $299 shipped to your door. This includes the timing belt, water pump, both tensioners, and drive belt. We can also add other maintenance items like plugs, seals or pulleys for no additional shipping. PM, e-mail or call us to save BIG on factory parts for your ride.
For questions or orders call Larry or Kaleb @ 707-578-3960

I asked the same question and this is what Larry told me:
The idler is an additional 36.00 and the thermostat is 28.00 the plugs that we use are oem and the part # is 9807b-5617w (1ZFR6K11) 13.75 ea. If you have any other questions just ask. Thanks Larry if you want to place a order call 707-578-3960
Sounds good to me

Hello , the plugs are oem NGK $13.75 ea
idler $36.00 and the t-stat $27.00. All our parts are oem as we are a Acura dealer. Your total shipped would be $444.00 unless ur in Canada then add $28.30 shipping.

IM gaskets (2)
VC gaskets (2)
SP seals (6) (I sent mine back, not needed)

Think that's it, IIRC.

What parts will I need to do the 105k service? I'm at 102k right now, so it's a job that will need to be done in the next couple months. I already have brand new NGK spark plugs that I picked up, so I'll need everything except those. What is the cost? THanks

Sounds like a good deal on the parts! Where can we find a good deal on labor? The dealership charges an arm and leg for the timing belt service

Find a friend that knows how to work on cars and then the two of you knock it out in a weekend. Then take your friend out for some and.

Maybe a dumb question to some, but I'm going to ask anyways.

EVERYTHING in this $299 kit is what is needed to have the 105k timing belt maintenance. The extra stuff you mentioned such as the plugs, seals, pulleys etc are not needed for the timing belt change, you can just give us discounted prices on those things too, correct?

Just hit 90k, don't need the service quite yet, but will probably buy this by the end of the summer, especially if this deal ends soon.

You're right. I just noticed the parts #'s that were posted earlier are all for a 2nd gen TL not the 3rd gen! I can still do the t/belt kit for $299 for 3rd gen and the Type-S is the same parts as the Base model. You can add the idler for $36, t-stat for $27 and the plugs for $14 each.

I'm only at 88k but I had my '04 in to the dealer to fix the navi and he told me about the timing belt. He said it was going to cost just south of $1,000 for parts and labor. I definitely don't have the know-how to do this work myself. If I bought this deal, where would the best place to go to get the work done? I'm always nervous when regular mechanics work on the car.
