Taking the plunge tomorrow....

I'm ordering my brakes tomorrow and wanted some suggestions on pad and rotor combinations. I have a 6MT so I have the Brembo front calipers.

I know there are tons of older brake threads on here, but I want some more current feedback. Thanks fellas.

Not to be a dick, but the "older" brake threads, will still yield relevant opinion; unless the part is now discontinued, then yes, you're right.

You answered your own question! Take a look at the abundant amount of threads on Pads/Rotors

Went with Wagner Thermoquiet front and rear + Centric C-TEK rotors in the back and Ultra Rotors slotted rotors in the front (whitebox Napa Ultra). So far very good, although I was already used to Wagner TQ.

if brake pad technology suddenly improves, it would be every where.

but no, sadly, we're stuck with the same shit from 10 years ago

I ordered EBC pads and Centric rotors. I'll update you on how mine run.

I'm not asking because I think things have changed in ten years. I'm saying new manufacturers come out, new stuff is released, etc.

no new manufactures have come out, no new stuff has been released.
the EBC pads and centric rotors you ordered have been in production for more than 10 years.

it has to do with the design and materials of our rotors and pads....

super/hyper cars are using carbon ceramic rotors...
what else do want to know, spacemandrew?

Centric rotors and RB 500 pads is the best combination I've tried so far. Better than Hawk ceramic and EBC reds by a long shot.
