I remember I used to mod these for an handful of members here. I do believe buying it as is on ebay is better than having someone modding it for you. I remember I charge members here $400 JUST on labor. The member have to buy 2 set of the TL tail lamp. 1 set for the 04-06 and 1 set for the 07-08. The member have the option to have all clear tail or smoke tail or signal is clear and brake is red.
It added up to be like a $600 to $700 modded tail lamp. Trust me the deals on the CDM is worth the price if someone likes to have that look.

Also italiano, the whole tail light itself is made out of a different material and over the years I tend to see DEPOs melt and fitment is 90% to OEM. I have seen good fitment depos, but with 13 companies making them its a coin toss on fitment. I know 100% its different materials because my eyes burn when cutting DEPOs open rather cutting open OEMs which smells like plastic. I have also seen a fair share of depos/oems and all depos had something "wrong" with them...melted bezel/melted reflector/lens spider crack easily, etc. Put an LED bulb in a depo tail light or headlight and watch the plastic burn..
ALso leaking is a huge problem with depos, not saying OEMs don't fail or all depos fail, but depos are a little less to my liking. Also the depo's color is a bit off. The headlights bezel is an anthracite color, projector defiantly isn't oem quality and the chrome is not "real looking". Depo tail lights bezel is off color. Eagle eyes is on another level...they SUCK. Not to offend anyone that has them, but I hate them.
If I was customizing tail lights, depos will be fine. If I were to buy a stock set, I would only get OEM but thats just me. It really depends on the find.

I am from Milwaukee and drove up to Green Bay to check these lights out in person, they are truly oem cdm lights.
The company received an incorrect shipment and ended up with these lights. I bought 3 pairs of these to try to make my trip worthwhile. I could not justify buying the last set although I should have. The lights you see online are the LAST set of CDM lights available and they will not be getting any more. They do however have like 40 more drivers side CDM lights. I don't know what they are going to do with those!
They would not let me keep the oem boxes and so I had to unbox them over the counter and put them into other boxes. One of the boxes had some sort of export paperwork and I tried to keep it but they were very adamant that I could not have it. I did manage to sneak some pictures of the lights in the boxes and honda part numbers.

Damn, those look good. Is your car ASM or SSM? I hope it's SSM as that's what I have. I'm really excited to see them installed.
Also, do you plan on using amber or red bulbs for the turn signals?
If you decide to go amber you'll never be able to find 7440 amber bulbs locally , but amber 7443 bulbs like our front turn signals will work fine.

I have a SSM. Temporarily, I'm going to be using amber 7440 bulbs but Ive ordered some raybirg yellow 7440 bulbs from Japan that I'm going to try out. I'm going to give them a shot here in a few days. You were right about the amber 7440 bulbs though, they were pretty hard to find but I did manage to get them right at auto zone.

I found out that the Depo Tail lamp material are kind of flimsy. Meaning the plastic is not as strong as the original. I had a customer before had a set of Depo lamp had me to modify. When I try to cut it open, I can tell the plastic tends to be a bit thin.
So you get what you pay for but if you just leave Depo Tail lamp as is, its pretty straight on for installation and fits pretty good.

I may put them in tomorrow after work, if not It will be Sunday. I've been working a lot and its been hectic. I can't wait to get these tails in! They look so sick!

I'll try to get to it after work tomorrow, I'm pretty excited myself! I must have just got lucky on the amber 7440 bulb. It was the only one in stock though.

I installed one side today and man it's such a pain... Not sure if I liked it or not, I think I need type s side markers and window tint to compliment it. Here's pics as promised, not sure if I can pull it off on the SSM. I'll get my window tint and side markers and possibly try again but as of now, I'm going to try to sell them.
And back to stock!
And back to stock!

Good Luck finding another set. I didn't buy them when I posted this ad, now I wish I would have. I haven't been able to find another set since. Maybe Bruce picked up a few sets and has some laying around. I bought a modded set from him a year or two ago, but I sold them cause I like the OEM look of them better.

Could be true if someone has the 04-06, but now that years have passed, the 04-06's are only worth $50 or so and if they have an 07-08..I can make those for $210 plus shipping. That includes labor and me sourcing out 04-06 tail lights. If one has 04-06 tail lights I can make that style for around $310 plus shipping which includes the 07-08 tails and labor.

The rear bumper is the same as the us one. It's to difficult for shipping bumpers and big parts.
The (fourth brake light) is the rear fog light. This can sill be ordered there.

Yes! That's very interesting to see after all this time. I wasn't expecting an array of filament bulbs. A cursory look at the 07-08 bumper diagram suggests those bolts are exactly the same as the ones used for the plastic garnish on USDM models.
It's really tempting to source one of these...
