Smashed my baby 3G TL 6M

Someone crept into my blind spot as I was changing lanes yesterday and I game them a nice bump as they passed me.
I almost cried when I saw my door. I feel like I violated my car...

I know this isn't the best pic- sorry about that. A lot of tire rubber and some scratched clear coat, and the panel is knocked in here and there. I'm getting some body shops to look at it tomorrow. Thankfully all the damage is isolated to the door and not anything surrounding it which made me wonder how much a new door costs.
Anyone have any great suggestions on where I might look for a Anthracite Metallic door? fml...

Don't go looking for just a door. The likelihood of the paint matching is very slim and your car will look like a turd.

What you want to do is take the car to a body shop. I can't really tell how bad the damage is because if the shitty pic, but the shop can fix that with ease and properly paint match the door. Worst case scenario, the shop would "re-skin" the outside of the door, but to me it doesn't look like that will be necessary.

Also, lose the cheesy pin striping while you're at it

Yeah the pic is crap - I'm putting my bet on the body shop, the door was kinda a thought fling.
And yes- the pin striping is going away

I don't see that repair exceeding $1000, but of course, it depends where you're located. Could be as little as $600 and as much as $1500.

Get a few quotes. Don't go with the cheapest. You get what you pay for.

Yeah, definitely lucky the damage is just on the door and not on the fender. Have you ever tried blind-spot mirrors? They've saved me a bunch of times. I have them on both cars and they're worth every penny.

Your definition of "smashed" is different from my definition of "smashed." Try a paintless dent removal place - they may be able to suck it out and keep your factory paint.

Hard to tell from pic, but looks like you can definitely PDR that shit, and then have it repainted if the paint was even damaged.

Smashed my have been a little much, the damage to the door is too extensive for a PDR unfortunately. The pic doesn't show it well enough. The door is getting replaced, painted and blended to match.
