OEM knob is nice I think. Matches the interior and feels nice and solid. Couldn't imagine changing that out.

Whenever I see jts post I already knew it was going to be along the lines of keeping it oem but I always love to read his posts about keeping everything factory. It's refreshing.

I say keep it OEM. Keeps your hands from the shock of extreme temp. swings. The way the interior lights are positioned allows them to highlight the top of the knob which illuminates the shift map. I think it is a cool effect.

A good number of users run the 'Maven' shiftknob from HeelToe, and with good reason. Geometry, weight, and throw are awesome. Marcus is one of the best vendor's I've ever dealt with, period.

I absolutely love mine.

The OEM shift knob definitely looks good and is nice that it has the leather wrap on it to deal with extreme temps. I just wish it was heavier, for more of that "weighted" throw feel.

OEM has that full feeling in your hand. I have tried Maven and other no name shift knobs but knob is too small.

I like my TSX knob, has a great finish, black perf leather, red shift pattern, and nicely weighted.

I've seen/heard good things about Moddiction.

Best OEM knob IMHO is Civic SI. I LOVE this shift knob. It is metal and leather wrapped.

I've been looking at the TWM shift knobs for my '12 accord 6MT.

Their hybrid series have a delrin outside and weighted inside, pricey though $200 for a knob seems steep to me and the hybrid series doesn't have the option to have the shift pattern engraved into the top, but not going to heat up like a billet knob.

This one:

I currently have a skunk 2 shift knob. I like it. I wish the RSX shift boot adapter kit was still available, but a ziptie is working fine for now.

I recommend skunk2 knob also. I lived in FL and now SC and boy does it get hot. Even the cold mornings it gets a little chilly. So, I had my mom make a booty to cover it in the hot and cold until it is more comfortable.

It's really no different than the Moddiction Anvil II. The Moddiction is a bit wider at the bottom and thus mates better with the shifter ring.

yah to remove the old one on an AT just unthread it (spin the knob counter clock-wise) it might be really tight to start

then to install new one just thread it on, just make sure you pick one up with the correct thread size and pitch

its that simple.

Yep same thing. Just a solid metal round knob really.

Fitment isn't an issue as they both look good in their own ways.
