Street Basis:

TEIN Street Basis Damper is the evolution of the popular BASIC coilover model. It incorporates new internal and external components, newly developed coatings and new manufacturing processes. Newly developed “ZT” coating for improved durability and hassle-free ride height adjustment. TEIN developed this coating in-house after stringent test and analysis procedures. Their engineers tested different coats, application methods, cleaning processes, etc… in their brine salt water testing machine which simulates heavy solvents/ road salts used in cold weather climates.

Street Advance:

The Street Advance damper is the evolution of our popular Super Street coilover. Developed to provide a sporty ride feeling and aggressive stance, along with wide-range damping force adjustment using our new Advance Needle technology, giving the driver a much more noticeable feel in damping force change. The shortened shell case design provides optimum damper stroke at lower than standard vehicle ride height.

Street Flex:

The Street Flex damper is the evolution of the popular Type Flex coilover. Developed to provide the ultimate balance of comfort and performance for both street driving and circuit use, along with wide-range damping force adjustment using our new Advance Needle technology and new damper valving specs, giving the driver a much more noticeable feel in damping force change and controllability. The shortened shell case design provides optimum damper stroke at lower than standard vehicle ride height. Full-length adjustability offers separate spring preload and ride height adjustment. Updated internal components and external coatings increase durability and product life.

Can't say enough great things about my Tein Street Advance coils, I highly recommend them for anyone looking into a drop but maintaining a comfortable ride.

I'm interested in picking up a set of street advance, but I'm not sure the promo codes are applying correctly. The code takes $69 off of the normal $621 price, which is a great deal, but is not 20%. 20% of 621 should be $497~.

Actually, looks like it is 20% off of your posted MSRP? Both end at $552. Slightly misleading.

That is correct, it is 20% off of the MSRP, not our regular sale pricing. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be sure to include this detail in the other threads.

Will these drop the car lower than the Aspec springs? Also are they better?

I used to pronounce "Tein" as teen, like you do using it for "sixteen".

Then I started pronouncing them "Tane" or "TAIN" because I looked it up like a curious boy I am and that's how you properly pronounce it.

But then I realize you could say "twenty sixtain yo" like an accent or gangster emphasis.
So you're good either way you meant to pronounce it, it works for the thread title

Shining endorsement for Street Advance. Ride great, plenty adjustable. Only downside is you can't get super low, but if you want extreme low you probably already know to look elsewhere.

I think you can get pretty low with the street flex. I'm low and there's a lot more room to go lower.

Do the Tein SA's come with top hats or do I need OEM still? This is very tempting as I am thinking my OEM has worn out and would like a direct swap.

We had free shipping on our exhausts back in December. I'll see if I can put something together for this month or March.

Many customers have taken advantage of this special pricing already, and we're still shipping them out regularly! Take advantage while pricing and supplies last!
