Rear Deck Cosmetics
The rear deck of my 08 WDP bothers me, somehow.
As you can see, it's completely stock. The change that tempts me the most is to put something in the bottom right quadrant, where the A-Spec logo would go.
On other cars, this would be where the engine displacement would be. I've seen a decent-looking "3.2L" coated badge on ebay that mimics OEM.
Another thing I've considered is putting the V6 badge from an Accord on there, until I realize that this is heresy. And you may say, of course, that "What's the point, everybody knows all TL's are sixes!!!" But lots of people ask me if it has a six in it. Even tempted to put a VTEC sticker there: looks like a normal VTEC logo, but below it its says "just kicked in yo!" which is moderately funny.
One other thing I could put down there is a silver and black CAA sticker.
But then I think, wait up: this is a (near) luxury car. It should have a clean rear deck, like a Mercedes: the logo, the model and that's it!
And if the goal is a clean look, then removing the ACURA logo is worth doing. I think that's a legacy from 1986, when the brand was new and unknown. I've noticed that the TLX doesn't say ACURA on it...
One last consideration, paint the badges to smoked chrome? I've seen WDP's with this done (also with black gloss) and it does look good.
Taste is subjective and such but I still wanted to know what you guys think.

Leave it be or debadge completely sans the A in the middle. If you get ASPEC components pony up for the ASPEC badge.

i really think its the fact that you have the type-s lip spoiler (which makes the rear look aggressive) but you don't have the A-Spec kit or type s quads to match its aggressiveness
i'd leave it or debadge the emblems

Its not what we like but what you like. Why dont you remove the badges and see if you like it. If not place them back on. Paint the badges and see if it looks good on the car. If not, strip the paint off and leave it be. Its not hard just play with it. Eventually you will find what you like.

Thanks all for the feedback!
The clean look would seem to be the way to go. I think I just might remove the ACURA badging, leaving the logo and the model designation.
The only other question would be, re-paint the badges (to smoked chrome, or glossy black) or leave them as-is? Chrome badging on white cars just looks washed out, and always looks best on darker colours.
