Quick question about '07 Type S headlights
So I'm in the process of diagnosing my HID issue (posted in the problems forum) and while messing around under the hood, I noticed one of the lights wasn't even secure in the socket.. It was a 9005 bulb, and it goes into that second hole (see picture, the one I'm talking about is the round one on the right that's lit up in the picture)
My question is.. WHAT IS THIS LIGHT, AND HOW DO I TURN THEM ON? I couldn't get either side to turn on... No matter what switch I flipped. Are they running lights? I don't get it. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with my HID problem? (HIDs aren't working often, one then the other will flicker and eventually go out completely)

Yeah the 9005 is daytime running lights, they come on when you put the car in drive (handbrake has to be down), then if you put it back in park it with the car on it should stay on so you can go check.

They are Daytime Running Lights and turn on whenever your car turns on, and turns off when you turn on your low beams.

Shoot, I wish they would stay on w the headlights, as I don't have any right now so that would be nice to have at night

Turn the stalk to one click.
That will turn on your parking lights and keep your DRLs on while the low beams are off.
You'll produce a crazy amount of glare so I wouldn't drive around like that.

Basically right now, it's either go w these running lights, or the fog lights.
