I used one in the wheel well. It's available on both pass and driver's side front wheel.
If you open the screws connecting the liner to the side skirts and peel back the liner you should see a grommet with a wire coming out of it about half way up.
I poked a hole and then poked the wire through on both sides; it was pretty easy.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and i am stumped. I hope this issue falls under this threads subject. I really like the puddle lights and the foot well lighting so i decided to do both at the same time as they require access/tap into the dome supervision wire.
So, i completed the foot well led lighting for all four seating compartments and it looked great. Everything worked fine turning on and off/fading off with the dome light. So, i tapped into the primary foot well wire leading from my original tap in to the dome supervision light to run my negative through the firewall for my puddles. I also installed the switch/diode as provided in the schematic(with lockdots correction). After doing this everything completely died and nothing worked(including the dome light.) I'm assuming i have a short to ground or i have overloaded something. I also used the add-a-fuse option tapping into the existing power seat fuse(20amp) with a 3amp fuse running the lighting i installed. I'm not incredibly familiar with voltage/amp draws and the like. Thought i would give the engineers on here something to puzzle out.
Thanks for your help.
