Hey everyone,
Doing a 3x3 and replacing transmission pressure switches.

I've never seen them labeled as oil pressure switches..can somebody confirm that im looking at the correct product?

SWITCH ASSY., AT OIL PRESSURE (TEXAS INSTRUMENTS) for 2006 Acura TL|28600-RAY-003

Yes, im aware there is a third AND fourth.

Thanks! still looking for a replacement headlight clear covers if anybody knows where to get those! (not assembly, simply just clear cover)

I have a 08 base model and replaced my pressure switches twice. Did not buy any "trans element" or anything additional except washers.

Might as well do the blinker fluid since you're removing the wheel.

In my part of the universe we call that a filter though. Freaking diagram-world dwellers.

I was checking out cabin air filters not too long ago, as you may know.

They call it "ELEMENT, FILTER" on the parts diagram.

Put one and two together and knew he was talking about the trans filter when he said element

What about the flux capacitor and the kanooter valve? i hear if you're taking off the bumper and wheel for the blinker fluid, you're supposed to change those too

So when you say trans filter, i assume you're referring to the external one? I would know, but i dont see which part number you're talking about.
I could be wrong, i was told there's an internal filter for the big shit, thats dam near impossible to get to..and there's also a smaller external one that is 'changeable'...is this what you guys are talking about?

Part #7 on the parts diagram.

The "changeable" one.

LOL

Yes #7 is an external trans filter that can be service. I use the parts terminology hoping you can find it by searching "Element" in the parts search box.

LOL it took me a while to find the correct name for that thing-a-ma-jig.

Just incase anyone else is wondering, 2007-2008 TL transmissions do not have a external "element" or "filter"
