To all those who were looking at the CL listing of the one I now have in my driveway (LOL), another was posted in CT about six hours ago:

Looks good.

Mpscan, congrats on the car! whereabouts in Boston are you? Im in Waltham myself..

As for the curb rash on the rims, I have a contact at Acura of Boston that says he can get my wheels refinished and in new condition for about $60-$70 per rim, and possibly cheaper with multiple cars. Let me know if you are interested

I purchased a super clean 2007 Type-S with 81K, 2 months ago for $18,000. You got a great deal.

Is the S type that much a premium over base?

I bought a 07 Base with NAV and 83000 miles for 10,300. I felt I got a fair deal. It is PRISTINE in and out but does have a quarter panel scratch that probably would run 700 to repair. (I am not repairing)

That's all up to each individual. For me it absolutely is. It's not necessarily significantly faster by any means, but all the interior and exterior changes, slight power increase just makes it an all around great package. The same can be said for any higher end model. F Sport models for Lexus, IPL for the G, etc... Some people would never want the performance version or like the more aggressive looks. I do

That's a great deal. I did see the car and wanted to test drive too but I guess it was you who scooped it up.

I ended up buying an 07 based with 60k miles for $10.50K from an old lady.
