They went in without issue. Pretty damn bright as well.

Do you have stock OEM headlight bulbs? If so, how close are these to the temperature/color?

Those look like they are going to glare like a mofo to oncoming traffic.

Not always easy to tell that from a picture, but I would for sure be concerned how much light is going up towards oncoming traffic.

Stock, don't know if mine have color shifted with age but the color is pretty much spot on.

Amazon, got them half price to "try them out".

Yea - I was actually down hill when I took that pic - from what I can tell the glare isn't too bad but I only walked about 50 yards from my car, glided to the right and squatted.

Robot Check Robot Check

It seems like they are a bit bluer than when I first installed them, I didn't think LED color shifted but what do I know.

Those look great

I installed similar fogs recently and love them. Seems like a lot of people lately have been going with this style.

The fog lights next to the headlights have crappy mirrored housing. I tried all kinds of LED 9006 HB4 in there, cheap and expensive. If you don't have HID projector lenses, some do, leave it alone. Whatever bulb you put in there looks cheap next to the HIDs. You could try something low wattage that glows orange or other colors, other than that you're just gonna add more work for your alternator and your battery is going to crap up sooner than it's supposed to.

Huh? Fog lights next to the headlights? The DRLs? These LEDs were installed in the fogs only.

2004-2006 base model TL from the US have fog lights located in the headlights next to the HID projector low beams.

2007-2008 US TL relocated the fogs to the bottom of the bumper and placed daytime running lights in the original place instead.

Can you please share the link of the fog light link from vleds that you installed?(plug and play)

Did you also have to buy the harness to take care of any error code?

Thanks in advance

There is no error code on the TL so nothing to worry about there.

Also, check out Diode Dynamics (H8 XML2 LED (pair) - H8 - LED Bulbs - All Products) I purchased some from them and they have been great so far, 3 year warranty and are brighter than stock but not ridiculous, something like 1470 lumens, completely silent fan, and plug directly into stock wiring with no "driver unit", etc.

I had purchased model VX3 which is not being sold anymore... but to answer your question, no harness and no error code and no additional box (ballast)... Just a fancy bulb with 2 big diodes each.
One of my fog light housing glass cover actually cracked due to road derbies. Water and dirt has been going directly in my fog light housing directly on the bulb and surprisingly it is still working. So it must be good!
