Paint Matched Grille/Hood Trim?

Paint Matched Grille/Hood Trim?
What do you guys think about this?
I can only find pictures of Black 3G TLs with matched hood trim and grille.
Anybody do it on any other colors? All of the potential pictures I've come across have broken links and I cant view them. I have a can of ABP from Paint Scratch that I want to use and think it would look cool to match the front.
I can also paint the crossbar in the grille black.
Any pictures or suggestions??

Another user also did this color theme on ASM with baby blue instead of red.

I like colour matched grills.

I do like your pictures you supplies and might do the first black one only with ABP. Never thought of leaving the top trim chrome and color matching the bottom.

I like OEM, or if you feel you have to do something, painting (or plasti-dipping), just the middle cross bar (and not the emblem) IMO looks best. Too much black or color matching just tends to look cheap and like a mod someone would do because they are bored.

Those both look nice, but the CBP front end looks great.
The car looks classy when the hood edge trim and grill surround match the body color, compared to the cars in the top photos.
Any change to the hood trim and grill surround color on my SSM TL would be almost invisible and not worth the effort.

I think the second TL you listed is my new inspiration. The front end of that thing is beautiful.
Just got my ABP paint today - first priority is the inside of the headlight assembly. Already have the bumper off replacing bulbs, ballasts and ignitors on both sides. Fresh lighting equipment ftw.
Then I'm going for the exact look of that grille lol. Daaaaang.
Then spacers, coils, and car has an appointment for tints next week.
I think I'll be looking good after that. >

I have a base model and I think painting in all black looks the best.. bought some inserts for the grills and plasti dipped them in black. I wanted to get the look of the TYPE S grills..

I ordered a can of ABP spray paint from Paintscratch and colormatched the bottom grille trim, hood trim, and headlights.
Also smoked out the orange reflectors and put in some ZKW-r lenses.
Enjoy!
Don't mind the body damage, neighbor across the street backed out of her driveway and straight into my car which was parked in the street.
Going in to the shop on Wednesday!
Unfortunately in Wisconsin we have to have a front license plate on.

When it goes in to the shop to get the rear quarter and rear door fixed this week I'm also getting those awful headlight lenses restored. Tried the restoration kits and while they did a lot, they didn't quite do 100%.
Then I'm getting the a-spec lip and then dropping it on coils.
Can't wait

I was playing around. did engine bay paint match to match body, also did grill to match body but went WAY out of the box on the top plate.
