I have a ELM327 bluetooth device that I use with the Torque Pro app on my phone. It works in my Audi, my wife's Lexus, and my daughter's Ford. I can't get it to connect on my son's '06 TL. I plug it in, it light lights up, it connects to my phone, but never connects to the ECU. I was wondering if there is anybody in Acuraland using the Torque Pro app that knows which protocol it uses to connect to the ECU. I usually just let select the auto setting but after letting it search for 20 minutes it still hadn't connected.

Try repluggimg it in. I always have mine plugged in via a y cable but when I plugged the device straight in it would lose connection. They don't fit very well with the TL port so you have to make sure it's fully seated and connected
