Ehh..Newark for starters.. Rip in seat, grill been modified and cold air intake. I don't know but reads as a car that has likely not been treated very too well

What can be said, an '08 TL-S for $9995. KBB has pricing $9000/$12000, naturally
depending on dealer/warranty/condition. It is what you see, and maybe worse, so do a
thorough inspection before jumping into the fire.
Mirage Auto Sales, Newark, NJ
Might want to check VIN 19UUA76558A040690

I am quite weary of buying modified cars - lots of headaches a lot of the time. I knew I couldn't afford (or find) a really clean Type S so I looked for 04-06 cars instead (plus I generally prefer the pre-facelift cars) and found an absolutely mint example with all records - couldn't be happier. My two cents: don't settle.

Yea trying not to I really want a 08. Was thinking about doing uber for a while to help pay it off and to clean up any damages. It's been easy to find a base tl but a type s has been a challenge. I really don't wanna settle

I'm going give it a look but I'm leaning towards passing on that one.

not too sure Uber pays out like you're thinking... sure, they give you cash upfront.....but the hidden cost of gas, maintenance, wear and tear far outweighs what you get up front.

You are considering buying a TLS and using it for taxi services temporarily to help pay for it? Da fuq?

Do you not have a real job?

It's an 8-9 year old $10-$12k Japanese sedan... I've used my 06 to drive for Uber briefly (before quickly remembering that I don't like having friends in my car, never mind strangers).

Used cars are 50/50, set aside maybe $2,000 for emergency repairs.

A daily and taxi car interesting.. It is roomy and a smooth ride ride which strangers shouldn't complain.

I had done plenty of looking to buy a car from NJ small used car dealer and I have to say they are shady as hell. One sale man trying to get a copy of my driving licences and yet I NEVER asked test drive the vehicle. I hate to break it to you OP but all 3g TL 05-08 that has red exterior will never have black interior (with Type S being exception). If the miles is legit then I suspect there is something wrong with the price.

Brian, be sure to check out the Mutli-Quote button. It's the middle icon in the lower right hand corner of each post.

It allows you to respond to more than one person in a singly reply (see Post #5). It will make your life here a whole lot easier.

Hope you are prepared for the 105k service. Timing belt, spark plugs, water pump, etc.

Will easily cost over $1,000 at the dealership.
