Not liking my '07 TL as of late

first the CD player completely goes, cant even get my CDs out now all I hear is the 6 of them rotating in there.
then my dashboard lights up with gas tank cap loose, (its not), tires are low everydamn day, and now my battery is dead.
BS! rant over

dude, its a machine!

please take care of your machine!
the tires are low because of science.

the battery is dead because of science, as well.

its getting cooler. tire pressure will decrease 1 degree for every 10 degrees cooler.

your issues are not even issues..

I hate my car right now, its leaking oil.

Agree with you all. However I love my car and can't wait for the business trip Chicago - Detroit tomorrow mmm

Your issues are actually not issues. It's just the part of the maintenance.
1) Tires - It's either the weather temperature change or leaking tires(Any tire shop can fix that for you without spending money for new tires)
2) Battery - Just replace it
3) Gas cap light - There are so many DIY's on that
4) CD - meeh, you still have aux but it would also bother me if not working

You can pretty much fix all that within one day and love your car back again

the part that really bothers me about the CD player is I hear them in there rotating and also not being able to get them out.
I use my phone now all the time so I don't miss the CDs its just more of an annoyance

You must not realize that many of us without AUX jacks use the tape deck for AUX in....so yes, I do use my tape deck every time I drive my car.

Now if only they made a really nice tape audio thing instead of those cheap plastic ones from best buy...

OP: good luck, remember regardless of those issues your cars still a lot nicer than most peoples on the road..

You should be able to find a head unit from a junkyard. Just make sure it's the correct one. They are probably around $200.

Costco has good prices on Interstate batteries for about $80.

You should spend the little extra cash and get your battery from Acura or Honda. Much longer lasting than the Everstarts from Wallie world.

I'm a failure….I've used those tape adapters many times in my dads 05 TL so I should know this. Didn't even cross my mind. I'm sorry for insulting all you tape deck users

Do a quick search. There are multiple options from straight up replacing to soldering and even baking the circuit board. I guess it depends on your wallet and your skills/ability.

Lol

OP hope you sort all out.. The air fix is easy.. Like they said its because of the temp drop.. Battery pffft on my 4th battery.. 3 OEM's first aftermarket one in there now..

CD player thing sounds annoying but maybe probably can get fixed.. Dont hate the car for this.. Its still running strong right?

I have never been able to test my cassette deck :/ should buy one if I can find one just to say I used it

I buy my replacement batteries from Acura. They have a 5 or 10 year warranty on them, but they never last more than 3 for me, so they end up prorating the new battery. I did disconnect my HFL which was killing the battery, so maybe the new one will last longer.

My rack and pinion is leaking, but it's been doing it for years, and I've never seen a spot on the driveway.

I asked Acura about a pro rated battery this year (I bought the battery in March 2011), and the guy told me straight up that I wouldn't save much lol

Yay! A thread to rant in.

My headlight has condensation like a mofo
My navi is dead, $470 to fix last I checked (FUCK YOU ALPINE!)
My tail light is cracked
I've been backed into twice this year
My dash is cracked
My interior rattles like crazy
MY CEL is on for a purge valve
My battery terminal keeps building corrosion which has eaten through my alarm sensors and fog light wires

Yeah
