those are maintenance procedures.. not modifications...

to OP, depends on what your looking for? interior? exterior? or performance mods?

if you have a 5AT most people will tell you it really isnt worth spending the money on performance mods... Parts for the TL are limited, expensive, and dont yield alot of power BUT if you're still interested, the most effective mods are (High Flow Cats or Pre Cat Deletes), J-Pipe, and cat back exhaust... those 3 mods will set you back around $2000 if you do the labor yourself

exterior mods = Lowering the car 1.5" to 2" will drastically improve the look of the TL.. once lowered throwing on a A-spec kit will really make the car shine... then some aftermarket wheels of your choice... those mods in that order imo is the best route to go... then you have other mods like the roof spoiler and deck lip spoiler mods as well depending on your taste

interior mods = a lot of members here like to replace all the interior halogen lights to LEDs.. this is a fairly cheap and very simple mod yet very visible mod.
If you're up for the challenge a few people here have swapped their navi or HVAC display with the Nexus 7 tablet.
LED foot well lighting is another popular mod on the forums as well

With an 06 I would recommend the maintenance over the modification... Once you know that your car will perform safely for years to come, then I would recommend the RV-6 V3 j-pipe and Progress RSB as your first performance mods....for me, they were the best bang for the buck mods...

Yea, but he should worry about his maintenance before doing any modifications to the car.... 3x3, pressure switches and look in the photo section or other members "build" threads for ideas.

J-pipe, rsb, coils, wheels the list can go on.

Maintenance over mods should always be suggested first.
