Need help finding 3G Manual transmission
Im trying to find a Manual transmission for my 2006 Acura TL. I have looked everywhere online with no luck. Does anyone else on here know where I might have some luck. My trans went out on me.
There is a small part of me that was thinking about doing a 07 or 08 type S swap, but I wasn't sure how doable that is. I already have the ECU. I know I would need the Engine/ tranny, but not sure what else would be required as far as if the wiring would need to be swapped or anything else. If somebody with some knowledge on this wouldn't mind helping me out I would appreciate it.

also they changed the bell housing on the TL 07-08. So you are stuck with getting a MT trans from a 04-06 or you can buy an accord v6 trans and remove your LSD and install it on the new/used trans

If you're in SoCal theres someone selling their crashed TL-S manual for $5000 on craigslist. Engine, transmission, and other various parts are still good and working.
