My Short and Unfortunate Run

Well, my lovely 07 TL-S has sold. I put it up on Auto-trader Sunday and within 2 hrs it was sold for my asking price. Link to pics below. My wife is pregnant with our 3rd so it's time to get her an SUV (got an Acadia purchase forthcoming). I'll drive her IS 250 for a while and get me something i want again soon (leaning toward Scat Pack 2015 Charger). Everyone on here has been great, even put up with a little of my smack talk at times. I loved the car and will always love my Honda motorcycles and Acura cars. They pick her up Saturday.

The Acadia had everything we needed and it was one she liked the best. It was between that and the MDX but price and a 3rd row tipped the scales for GMC.

Damn that's clean. No curb rash and 108k miles? I'm impressed.

Thanks guys, the IS250 my wife drives is nice, it's just not me. So, because i'll have sold 2 cars I loved in a 2.5y time frame, I'm getting what I want next. Even though it's big (3 kids rem) it's a pretty sweet ride and deal. I just cant decide white or blue?

I also did the same and sold my truck with an LS6 swap (170k body, 120K motor) for a new 2014 Acadia. It's a great crossover. Biggest crossover in its class and power as well. My wife and I love it and its a great road trip vehicle. It was the Acadia or the Toyota Highlander. The Highlander has a smoother ride rather than the trucklike manners of the Acadia but it was so small to us and no cargo room whatsoever.

Good choice on the Acadia! (Let the bashing begin...)

I got the wife's hand me down 2011 Jetta, and cashed it in at CarMax after two months driving it because I hated it. Used some cash to buy my TL and paid bills with the rest of the cash left over.

Best decision ever!

KBP 6-speed is the ultimate TL in my opinion. Sorry to see it go

Best of luck deciding on a new car! If you go with a Charger, get the blue

Yea, my wife and some other girl I work with were the only 2 votes for white.. The blue does stand out a bit more, white is just my all time fav and the cleanest pure look.

Update With New Ride

Well, I found an awesome deal I couldn't pass up. 13 Taurus SHO instead of the Charger. So far so good. It's big, that's what I needed, not necessarily wanted but it's a smooth ride, feature rich and has good power. I plan to get an intake, cooler T stat and 1 step cooler plugs and a tune. Hopefully soon, I ve read 40 AWHP addition with that alone.

Not bad choice on the new SHO. What other cars did you look at? Infiniti and Lexus offered some good powered sedans as well.
