Still need to get it painted. Something to consider. I believe those will sell more when the OEM ones are absolutely nowhere to be found. Until then...

I've seen it in person, and all i can say is you pay for what you get.
It also really depends on the paint job, too.

You have to ghetto mount them on as there are no mounting hardware or holes.

Here's what I did - Contacted Bruce (acktl05) on here, ordered an OEM kit through him. It was 780$ shipped. Had it shipped to cbiusa - Its a parcel holding service that you can ship to in Niagara Falls. They will hold your package until you pick it up, you pay them a nominal fee for it. Then I just drove it across the border. If you're brave, you can get someone stateside to help you install it and then you just drive over the border and you won't have to pay taxes. If not then be prepared to pay HST at the border for the kit. I chose to just pay the HST.

If you're in Toronto, then the drive will be nice and simple, 1.5 hours there, 1.5 hours back. CBI is located literally 5 minutes away from the bridge over. Probably something like ... 40 bucks in gas? Not even.

HST is 13%, as usual.

The best method to get your hands on an A-Spec kit for the best price is the method that N1h1l1ty mentioned.

Same method I used, as with most people from Canada.

See I can't remember if they charged me 13% of the 780$ or 13% of the 780 after it was converted to Canadian dollars by them. I'm thinking the former.

Just budget yourself a morning for it, leave early to avoid hellish 401 traffic, bring plenty of coffee and a friend to keep you company / annoy the living hell out of you. Or a loaded ipod (my preference)

When I bought my tires from Tirerack, I showed them the receipt which was of course in USD.

They took out their calculator and just did the price multiplied by 13%.

Same as on a different occasion I went to bring my Magnaflow mufflers over, they just looked at the receipt and multiplied by 13%.

They did not convert to CAD, then multiply by 13%
Although, I think they're supposed to. Maybe I just got lucky both times.

If they care, they will, but most of the time they just want to process you.

Its as simple as don't give them a reason to care - declare everything, be polite and courteous and have all of the receipts / invoices ready for them and it will be a 10 - 15 minute hold up at most. Take it from someone who got fined for under-declaring in the past. You might get away with it but sooner or later it bites you in the ass.

When I go US side I go grocery shopping, even for a few things, at Walmart. When you get back to the border you tell them you went to Walmart, hand them the receipt, and that's if they even want them. Works like 90% of the time. Most of the time they'll just wave you to go on your way.

But yeah, for a body kit, wheels or tires, I'll just declare it. Around $100 for $500 of tires and the rest is usually slightly cheaper I believe.
