I bought the K11 Inspire/Accord Fog Light kit and was working on installing it. Has anyone has any clearance issues with the light housing hitting parts of the vehicle? I know one horn is in the way and I'm working on moving it, but it seems like both sides of the nose cone (bumper cover) don't want to fit back on. Either the lights are hitting something or maybe I'm just not pushing in on the side clips hard enough. If the horn is out of the way, will the passenger side light clear the washer tank?

Also having trouble finding an easy place to hook the switch power up to.
I want total independent control of the fogs but want them to go out when ignition is off. I'd like to try & avoid cutting into a wiring harness if possible.

The fogs do not hit anything else, including the washer tank.

You're not putting the bumper on right. Inspect everything at the bottom.
Sometimes the fender liner goes UNDER the bumper instead of over the bumper, etc.

You want independent fogs. Easy.

Use an "add-a-circuit" (google if you need), and plug it into a cabin fuse that turns on when the car is on, and off when the car is off, for instance, fuse #32.

Thanks, I'll look it over real good this afternoon.
I tried the add-a-fuse to the rear defroster fuse in the main fuse box under he hood. It has no power when ign ids off, becomes hot when ign is on....but it doesn't work for some reason. It is a 30amp fuse, but when I test it with a 12 volt tester, the light only barely lights up, compared getting a bright light from the tester on other stuff. The rear defroster does work correctly, so IDK.

I'll try a fuse in the inside fuse box, but I already ran the switch wire harness through the firewall.

Maybe rear defroster doesn't output 12V for whatever reason have you taken a multimeter to it?

Fuse #32 in the cabin fuse box, use it.

Fuse #32 is hot in accessory (II) position. I found one for the washer pump that is only hot in position III (ignition on).

I got the horn moved & the bumper cover back on and everything works...
EXCEPT...the back light for the switch that came with light kit...it stays on all the time the is circuit hot, regardless of if the fog lights are on or off.

That can't be right. I used the supplied wiring harness and switch, the plug to the back of the switch only goes in one way.

Any ideas on that?

I'm not familiar with the inspire fog switch, but if there is only one light for the switch opposed to 2 (one for back light, one for on/off indicator), that is completely normal.

If you want to do extra work, wire the bulb wires to the parking light fuse. That way when your parking lights are on, the backlight will light up along with all your other interior button lighting.

I've got a OEM Honda switch coming to fit the opening. I'll have no idea how to wire it. The wiring harness for the switch has one red wire, one black wire, and one yellow wire. At the back of the switch, there is 2 red wires. So I'm thinking the second red wire at the switch cross over to power the back light, but it should only work when the switch is on.
