Hi-Beams dim?

On my '04 TL, the hi-beams are, well... Useless. I had one of the bulbs replaced (at an incredible blow to my wallet), but the hi-beams are barely brighter than the low-beams. I have no idea why, but it doesn't seem as if the lights are projecting very high. Thoughts?

It sounds like it's time to realign.

Are your headlights hazy and oxidized? Maybe they need to be restored?

high beams barely brighter..?

Our TL's have a bi-xenon headlight setup so it's the same bulb. When you hit the high beam on the stalk, it just lowers the cutoff shield. Same bulb, same luminosity, but just more illumination higher up. What do you mean by barely brighter? Can you take some pics?
