TlFreshes build thread

I have been browsing this forum for quite some time but never really gave an introduction for myself I currently drive a 04 Tl 6 speed with Navi and bought the car back in June of 2011 with 60k only did a few basic mods probably not even worth mentioning but anyway I did full interior bright white l.e.d.'s and did a Loc conversion from my stock sub to an aftermarket amp and sub also picked up a set of mint type-s wheels with mint Michellen tires on them and that is basically it.The car is bone stock just like I like it.

Future mods

OEM Tl type s front bumper
OEM Tl type s rear bumper
OEM Type s headlights
Quad tip exhaust
OEM A-Spec suspension
OEM 07-08 Base tl tails
Rear trunk lid spoiler
Nav mods Av output etc

Welcome. One question though. Don't take this the wrong way, but why not just buy a type s? Comparatively speaking they are only a couple grand more than a non s and your going to spend that or more making yours look like a type s. Just curious is all.

Well originally I wanted a type s but it was to much money at the time and to get the mileage/6 speed combo I wanted was almost impossible to find im from ct by the way and now I figured I would just build up a rep since I love the car

Trust me if i was more educated on TL i would've picked a TL-S too. I didn't really know the difference until a few months in. All i knew was Acura TL. The only thing i knew was that the 04--6 were a bit different than the 07-08.
