You can order the switch from the following website (it's #7 in the diagram):

got most of the kit in, having problems with the switch. Not so much poke through, but its at a weird angle to get to. more on seller, and outcome after the darn switch.

ok, so i found these accord fogs with the hids as a package on ebay. i asked the seller if the lens are glass and if they aren't will they melt the lens. I got a response saying the lens are a hard plastic and with these hids they won't melt the lens. i'm a little skeptical and looking for opinions.

I have an 04 TL with an 07 Bumper with stock Acura fog lights on them. Since it's an 04 I don't have any wire harness for fog lights at all.

I already purchased the Accord Switch (08V31-SDA-1M035) and the Switch Wire Harness (08V31-SDA-10030)

Do I need to get the Accord relay as well or should I just get any type of relay? How many do I need?

Will the Fog Lights wire harness for the Accord work on the Acura Fog Lights? Are the connector going to match on the fog light itself if I use the Accord fog lights wire harness?

Thanks in advance.

Similar question. Will this switch work for an 04 TL?
http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine...SDA-1M035.html

Is this the correct site for the Switch Wire Harness? (08V31-SDA-10030)

http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine...SDA-10030.html

I'm on the same boat as KamoteQ. Any input would help. Thanks.

I clicked on the link and noticed that the switch is for a 2006 Accord 4-dr EX, but will this fit and work on a 04 TL automatic? Thanks.

Is there a really good wiring diagram especially for switches? I have the OEM ones coming in in a few days and can't find a good guide.

I can install the fogs. I am located right off 105 on the parkway. I also carry the OEM accord 4 door fogs in stock if you needed a set.

Can someone tell me how to aim these? I had them installed at a shop yesterday and when I turned them on tonight they were shining on the houses as I was driving down the street. They are aimed too far to the right and left and too high; they were shining on the second story of the houses???? Can someone help?

that's how it will aim based on the angle of the bumper, you can only adjust up/down not L,R. You should be able to lower it from the bezel screw.

^ No, there is splicing involve (1), to the park lamps, all other taps are done from the fog light switch harness.. take a look at the DIY..

Ok well i took a picture, just so i can be 100% sure what im doing

In this picture there are 3 connectors on the left ( 2 go to the 2 different relays right? ), but what about the skinny and long connector where does that go?

There are also the 3 wires on the right, what do i do with them? I read the accord installation guide but it says to plug them into the connector on the relay box? (i doubt its the same for the TL?)

^the skinny connector with 2 wire: the green wire will be ur tap that you will have to run thru the firewall and splice to the green on switch harness
on the right (3 wire), u only need to use the red/blue to an inline fuse for constant power.
hope this helps

Oh okay

- So i cut the green off the skinny connector and extend it in through the firewall and then connect it to the green wire on the connector that the switch plugs into.

- Then the red/blue one, I have to connect it to the battery. So I gotta add wiring from the battery run it through a in-line fuse, to that wire.

- The other two connectors which connect to the two relays, do the relays both get bolted in at the same place? or is one inside the cabin? Does it matter which color relay is where?

Okay and let me see if i got the rest of this.

On the switch
- The blue wire taps into the parking lights, to give it power?
- Black is ground
- The red and red w/ black stripe are not used

so i do not need to use the rest of the connectors right? i just need the switch connector and the wires comming out of it, correct? should i just rip it apart and remove all of the other connectors since they are of no use to me? there are 5 connectors and by the looks of it i just need the one that goes to the switch

and can someone tell me which is the parking lights wire that i have to tap?

^ the first 2 is good..you can remove the wiring and isolate the brown connector (for black relay) or just leave it is, since its nicely wrap. both relays stays in the engine bay, u can place both together and wrap it up..

^ u could remove the other connectors or just leave it, cause it is looped good.
below the knee panel, look up towards ur left, its the connect w/ all red wires. look for the black part of the connector, its the red/black wire..or a quick way is use a test with the park lights on..

i seriously doubt it makes a difference if i go from a higher gauge (Like what the wires that come with the harness are), then to a bigger 16 gauge which i bought and am using to extend the wires, then back down to the higher gauge wire. Shouldnt make too much of a difference

i want it wired so when i turn my parking lights on, then the switch gets power and i can turn the fogs on and off with the switch. But when i turn turn the parking lights to off. Everything goes off. Was i wiring it up correctly or do i have to do it a different way?

the way outlined here will allow u to do exactly the way u want it, that's why we tap the park lights, to have control w/ switch
