Dark blue/white wire from the switch to the black/blue wire off of the relay. (all in 16 gau wire) Then snipped blue/red across from the black/blue off of the relay and connected that to my hot wire. And nothing.. I've attempted this once already in the past and I'm bored/insomniac so I decided I'd hit it again. FAIL. Help me out Ack lol you are my guiding light ATM.

I had a quick question for Roger, as state inspections or regulations when turning on highbeams will the fogs turn off because before doing this mod they will but after will they still shut off or stay on?

For inspections just leave them off. If they ask you to turn them on just say they don't work. There's no requirement that fogs have to be operational.

I've never heard of an inspection curious about your foglights? That's absurd.

I've heard you can run HID's with this mod without a relay.

okay so i did the first half (just up to the blue/black wire so i have to remember to turn them off whenever i use them), and it took me about 2.5 hours. i ran into one problem: i pushed out the rubber plug from the inside of the car (the one that goes in the firewall) and it fell out into the engine bay. i cant find it, but i was still able to get the wire through the hole. is this part super important or is it ok leaving it like that? its gonna be a bitch to find, so if its really necessary, ill probably just buy that part and plug it up

I think I did the same thing. I gave up on the modification and put all the wires back to normal. The fog light indicator lights up on the dash but no fog lights. At first I got a "CHECK TPMS SYSTEM" light and it went away after a few minutes, but still fog lights. All fuses are good. How did you or Acura determine it was the combination switch?

This is what I'm looking for. I want to be able to turn on the LED angel eyes on/off whenever, using an accord fog light switch. Can someone cook up a wiring diagram for that ? Damn Honda Dealership wants #600 to do it

I'm in PA. My last inspection, the shop called me up and said they could not pass me with the Nokya Yellow bulbs in my OEM fog location! I looked up the Motor Vehicle code and tried to plead my case, but it was just simpler to take a set of Silverstars down for them to install, get my stickers and swap the Nokyas back in!
I can't wait to see what happens this year with my J-Pipe/3rd CAT delete, switchback bulbs and sidemarkers---should be fun!

Noob here. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but would it matter if I used 14 gauge wire instead of 16 gauge wire?

I think someone mentioned the only difference is the relay isn't under the hood like the pre 07s are. Not sure where it is though.

fixed

After getting no help from the dealership and not wanting to spend $28 on a new factory relay, still not having full control of my fogs I decided to wire in my own relay with a switch. Works so cool. While I troubleshooting my factory fogs I added in these CATZ aftermarket fog lights too. They are green and look like night vision on by themselves.

Hey all I have an 07 TL-S and will be wiring my fogs independently this weekend. I talked with "Vmodi89" awhile back who has a Type-S also and he figured out how to do this. I will be taking photos during my install and sending them to Vmodi89 for a DIY for us 07-08 owners. If you have any questions feel free to send a pm. Thanks!
