Find in the right CV axle for my 2006 TL
I brought a new cv axle for my Acura 2006 TL. After removing the broken axle, I came to realize the new axle was different or shorter than the original one. I tried looking at a 2007 or 2004 they are all shorter in length than the original, Auto Zone and Advanced Auto, they all have the short version of the of the axle. Will the shorter one work?

Which side? If passenger side, right side, all '04/'06 A/T right axles are the same.
Are you comparing the entire axle, trans to axle end dimension to the replacement
shaft which would be about 24.06", bearing to axle end?
If drivers side, no idea.
