Very nice tutorial! The last part where you pull the bumper off scares me a little.

Is there any changes that I will have to consider for the 2008 model when taking the bumper off?

Thanks!

Thanks for the video. I have a new TL-S grill to install on my '07 TL base. My only worry is SCRATCHING anything! I have the service manual and this job calls for a special tool. What is that tool used for?

During re-assembly, what do you need to be careful about not to have any paint damage? Any alignment problems?

Thanks to anyone who cares to comment.

Thanks very much... the CAI intake for my 07 TLS will arrive any day, so this will be really helpful. Just one question... on my CL it is pretty easy to service the filter. What is access like on the TL? Can you get at the filter through the wheel well or do you have to pull the bumper?

Thanks again for the video... I was the most nervous about taking off the bumper.

Thumbs up Thanks sandiegodrive

Hey there, just wanted to thank you for the great instructions. I had some damage to my front bumper cover and a body shop gave me an estimate of about $970. I ordered a bumper cover on eBay for $225 shipped and had a body shop paint it for $200 (saved $545, woohoo!). I had the new bumper cover on in about 45 minutes thanks to your excellent instructions. I imagine I'd have taken about 3 hours without your instructions and I probably would have broken something. You're a rock star!!!

Thankyou very much! Where do I mail the donation? Is it much different with the A-Spec front lip? I will do this when it warm out to clear my headlights and install chrome amber bulbs, also thinking about painting inside the lights a medium grey like the TL-S.

Thanks again!!!
