Id wait a couple days for the tint to settle. You should not roll your windows down for at least three days. Also. when you install the moleskin, do the single strip install instead of cutting it in half. I had to install it three times because of glue streaks and only way I fixed it was doing the single strip install.

Good luck.

how much moleskin do i need for four doors and what do you mean by the single strip? Do you just use one strip to cover both the top rubber and the bottom rubber?

Buy it from http://www.empirepao.com/ they sell a 10ft roll and that is all you will need.

You are correct about the sigle strip install. it means that instead of cutting the moleskin (which is about one inch wide) to fit to each the top and bottom rubber separatelly, dont cut it and install it over both the bottom and top rubber in one piece. It worked for me to get rid of glue streaks.

Peace,

Rolan

I agree guys. DO NOT CUT THE MOLESKIN. I am going to change the DIY once I redo mine. The glue is coming off on my windows. Strange that my 06 never did, but this car is.

I never got pictures unfortuently and don't have the car. If you can get me pics I can update that. But basically just don't cut it in two pieces and it overlaps both blades.

I finally did the moleskin and I must sayit was much easier than I originally thought it would be! The weird thing was that my rubber was awkwardly bent in certain areas so it was a little difficult keeping the moleskin even on the top and bottom flaps, but still a very easy install. My gratitude to those who took the time to provide these DIY's and the feedback provided by all.

I bought mine off Amazon for $15 enough for more than enough to few cars:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o08_s00

I wrapped mine around the outer stripe and vent the metal a little inward so it doesn't put too much pressure on the glass. So far it is working perfectly.

Can someone update the DIY link? It's broken. I'm trying to get some moleskin but all the links on this thread are broken. I can't find any other diy's, and it seems eBay is the only place that has it cheap. I can't find any at my local stores.

Please help.

i got some recently from tintprotector (AZ won't let me paste the link but add www and .com)

my original tint moleskin was getting glue everywhere so i wanted to do it right, with the right stuff. no glue on the window since i did it. it's worth the cost
