About the leased car question..... um I'm not sure since I haven't ever leased a car, but I don't see why not... So yes they will take it back

Smoked. I had clear on my car for a little while and didnt like how it looked so I did the headlights again, painting them second time around. 100x happier with how it looks.

do you guys think putting a few coats of the clear over the black would help with teh reflectivity, while still retaining the awesome look? also, its ok to bake all the LED stuff inside the light? or does it all come out with the bulbs?

^-i didnt take any of the bulbs out the first time i put them in the oven. nothing seemed to happen. blacking out the lights doesnt make them that much dimmer (i havent really noticed anything) but yeah, you could spray some clear on there to see if it makes a difference

So what signal bulbs do you guys recommend when you clear them? I know philips make one that is silver and orange when lit up but they are not dual filament. So which ones do you guys recommend that are not LED??

^ - I ordered mine from the same page, but when I did the picture they had for the bulb was different. I cant find my invoice but two bulbs shipped to my house was 10 bucks, so we are probably talking about the right ones.

They look exactly like the Chrome Dome ones except they are fully chrome. I'll get a picture of them in the headlights later if you are curious.

So which one did you order? The full chrome or the chrome dome?

i did it all myself. the chrome amber bulb works pretty well. flashes bright and when not signaling you can still see the yellow/amber so i doubt you will get dinged for anything by the cops (assuming you dont have state inspections). i was going to do the leds but i didnt know much about their side projection since i heard they were only strong out the front.

Has anybody tried painting just the non-reflective stuff black and leaving the the parabolic reflectors. I know the first main write up has the fog light reflector left chrome, but has anybody tried this with the turn signal. It will surely aid in the light output, I'm just wondering how it will affect the badass output...

Anyone have pics of the chrome/chrome dome bulbs installed with their blacked-out lights? Want to know how bright they look and so forth. I don't know which ones to buy but I'm getting sick n' tired of the stock bulbs.
