just need new ballasts from o6 or higher. the o6+ ballasts are slimmer and smaller.
o6 and o5 share all same bulbs and whatnot otherwise so there will be no wiring issues.

Yessir, I have been slacking a little bit on updating the thread with the recent projects as I have been mostly busy with 4G lights and occasional 3G ones.

The best way to get in touch with me is through my cell/txt at (five zero eight) three six zero - eight three two zero.

Quads are usually for esthetics, no one needs that much light on the road as with the sharp cut off your eyes start hurting after a while. I should know as I use to have TL/ZKW and AP1 S2k combo in my 02 TL-S back in the day.

BTW have you installed your lights? Post pictures if you can.

Hey - Did you have any issues related to having a Canadian Domestic Market TL? I'd like to do a swap, as I'm all the way out on the west coast, but only if the headlights are the same as a USDM.

They are installed except the Angel Eyes are not currently hooked up as I am waiting for a switch....once I have time to install them then I will snap some pics and throw them on this thread.

Shipping my old ones back to you Monday....forgot to bring them into work today...whoops..

They look great though as I would have expected, and no leaks on these ones so far! Thanks again

Hey JnC, I don't know if you remember me, but I need to send my TL-S lights in again. My halos burned out, so I'm in the process of buying new ones. The ballasts from the previous halos were kinda crappy and burned out the rings prematurely.

How much would it cost to reinstall new halos on my TL-S lights?

That sucks as we replaced them once already in one of the lights . Shoot me a PM and we'll go over details.

Imabeast31's head lights

Imabeast31 sent his lights in a few weeks ago to had them redone. The front lenses were shot due to heat damage caused by being in the over for too long. He also got into a fender bender and damaged the passenger side light severely, which included broken inside bezel and completely shattered inner side mount of the headlight plus the headlight itself had a crack.

Couple of before pictures to show the damage and condition of the front lens.

As I personally love challenges like these I wanted to fix these lights rather then replace them with new ones.

Details

05 TL headlights
Blacked out V2, Matte Black
Complete front lens restoration
Replaced inner bezels

Can you explain what you mean here? What do you mean your eyes hurt? And also do those quad headlights still fit on the car without any heavy modification in the engine compartment with the extended projector?

I wet sand and everything with multiple passes and then use Plast-X but the headlights don't look as clear as they can get lets say.

I just use light wet sanding, ONLY if necessary as I try to avoid that as much as possible, polish with different polishes/compounds etc and then throw on a layer or two of clear.
