The base 6MT does plenty of work as it is and OEM parts can be had easy.
Seems like urban legend, I have never had a problem sourcing/getting parts???

^ As per usual, Mr. Crabby nails it on the head. I daily my 6MT in Minneapolis traffic, and never bitch about it because it isn't a bitch. And ironically enough, when I leave space and engine brake, 1) I'm saving gas 2) I'm saving brakes 3) I'm saving clutch 4) I'm actually helping the flow of traffic, contrary to popular belief (being that the reason TRAFFIC occurs is generally due to people not leaving space and allowing others to merge OR dumbasses driving slower than they should be OR people not matching the flow of traffic when they merge on).....

^ Again, exactly, and if you have an exhaust you can hear, you'll smile every time I still do.... Shit, I do it myself just to get the attention of other nice cars driving next to my or who are headed the other direction.

I was looking for a sporty ride that compared to a G37.
which, the 2006 TL 6MT that I picked up, checked off all the boxes on that front.

my 6MT is stiffer than the Auto base TL's and WOULD NOT TRADE for a softer suspension set up at all.
Because I like cornering.

so, it really depends on you and what your preference is.
^ Same on every account.
