Carfax anyone

Does anyone have a carfax I can borrow, looking at an A Spec tomorrow, dealer has good reviews on Carguru, but would like to check the Carfax if anyone has one available. I just don't wanna spend $30.00for one car!

so you want to "borrow"? Borrowing means something you take but give back in the future. How do you plan on giving back for a carfax report? I think what you are asking is "Does anyone have a carfax I can have for free because I'm too cheap to spend $30 for peace of mind?"

SMH, spending thousands on a car but can't afford a $30 report?

You're thinking about spending over $10,000 for a car and don't want to spend $30 for a carfax?

You don't sound like a serious buyer. If you can't afford spending your own $30 for a carfax for a car YOU want to buy for yourself than you don't need to be buying a car.

Here's a clue, greenhorn, it'd do you well not to snub what I consider one of the finest cohorts among the online automotive enthusiasts communities to exist: don't ask us to commit an act that can result in litigation.

From CARFAX:

Commercial use, resale and redistribution of CARFAX Reports is strictly prohibited. "Commercial Use" is defined as use by persons engaged in the business of researching, buying and/or selling of automobiles, the resale or redistribution of Reports, or any other business purpose as determined by CARFAX, Inc. ANY COMMERCIAL USE OF CARFAX VEHICLE HISTORY REPORTS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND ANY SUSPECTED COMMERCIAL USE WILL LEAD TO THE SUSPENSION OF YOUR ACCOUNT, UNTIL YOU PROVIDE SUFFICIENT PROOF THAT YOUR USE IS PURELY PERSONAL. FAILURE TO DO SO PRIOR TO THE EXPIRATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT WILL RESULT IN THE DEACTIVATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT, WITHOUT REFUND, AND MAY RESULT IN LEGAL ACTION. PROOF OF PERSONAL USE MAY INCLUDE: DETAILING HOW YOU ARE USING THE CARFAX ACCOUNT AND SPECIFIC EXAMPLES OF THE SITES OR LOCATIONS WHERE YOU ARE FINDING THE VEHICLES THAT ARE BEING OFFERED FOR SALE. THE DETERMINATION OF PERSONAL USE IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF CARFAX, INC. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO IMPOSE, AND YOU AGREE TO PAY TO CARFAX, INC., AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $29.99 FOR EACH CARFAX VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT THAT CARFAX, INC. DEEMS WAS ACCESSED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.

I understand where you are coming from but I dont believe forum rules even allow free carfax reports. I believe the reason for that is it may be against carfax policy to be publicly sharing carfaxes. This is the type of question that you should ask close friends, not a public car forum.

We are sorry but due to recent announcements by Carfax, Carfax offers and/or requests are strictly forbidden.
