Buying Acura TL need help!
I have been on the hunt for an Acura TL for a while now and yesterday I saw a posting in a website which was selling a 2004 Acura TL for 2250. The driver seat's leader cover was torn and the back seat's cover was also torn. The car has 177k miles and I test drove it and felt smooth. He changed the battery, compressor, and all shocks before posting the ad and had a receipt for it. The paint needed help but overall it looked fine. I wanted to know if this was a good deal considering all the cosmetic problems and miles that it has. Thanks for the replies! Pictures can be obtained if asked.

Was there any rust or bad body damage? At 177k, you'll probably want to do the 105k service (timing belt, pump) which could run you 1k (unless has done it recently).
I bought mine at 177k and it's been fine. I've only done the 105k service, an oil change, transmission fluid change and a new battery (that fucker died at a party).
It does seem to be too good of a deal.

the tranny is a big issue on the 04-06 models so you may want to factor that cost in.

Ask the guy if he is willing to get it inspected if you're really worried about it. May have to pay it out of your own pocket, unless you can talk him into it or split with him. I did that after I bought mine, and the money I spent on an inspection they allowed me to use towards any repairs done. So I got my timing belt replaced
