6000K or 8000K??

I feel like anyone running over 5k is going to look a little bit ricey. When HID's first became popular, I loved the 6k on my old Prelude, but now so many people have them (at least where I live) that they have become really annoying. Especially without projectors.
But to answer your question, go with 6k if you must. Personally 5k is the absolute cleanest, most luxurious look IMO.

4300K have the most lumen (light),and It's the HID came on all cars. But if you want the color go with 6000K. My wife had 06 accord 6 years ago with 6000K HID. WE both don't like it, because it's too blue.

My son had them in his 04' Subaru WRX & got pulled over, nailed with $53 ticket. The cop said: "Everytime I see you driving with these lights I'll write you a ticket" He came home & removed them. I'm glad to have the assurance of cops protecting us law abiding citizens from those reckless law breakers driving around with aftermarket halogen lights. I feel so much safer now!

I'm not sure why people get anything other than 4300/5000k for the TL seeing that it's a projector headlight. All you're doing is losing lumen and for what? Color on the ground? When you look at your projector headlights you do realize it changes color depending on where you're standing due to the color band cut off, right?
Anyway, it's your car and if you care about looks more than visibility, I say go for it!

Now if they're just halogens and not blinding oncoming drivers I don't see the issue.

going off of what VanyDotK said, imo the whole attraction to these higher kelvin bulbs is to replicate the look of higher end cars like BMW or Lexus
but people have to realize it's the cutoff that makes the lights appear colorful, not the actual bulb. The blue you see is merely the cutoff from their OEM projector/bulb setup. You can mod the TL's lenses and cutoff shield to do the same.
I'd rather maintain a bulb color that's similar to sunlight.

You really shouldnt be changing any fuse ratings at all if you're talking about the factory fuse boxes.

I wish there were more cops like that in my area. Every morning I have to deal with these idiots with blue and even purple lights that have no usable output yet blind oncoming drivers. Every morning the ones coming the opposite way get my brights in their face. It really is distracting and it is a safety hazard. Why should other people suffer because some guy with bad taste decides the color of his lights is more important than blinding other drivers? I could care less how ricer they want to be but when it affects me, I start caring.
Now if they're just halogens and not blinding oncoming drivers I don't see the issue.

Those ricers get flashed by my high beams too! I wish there were more cops cracking down on illegal headlights (HIDs in reflective housing) and noisy exhaust. Really brings the quality of life down and disturbs others.
And oh yeah, 4300K > All !

I've found that it's best to do it when you are behind them, then they can't flash back and they get a taste of their own medicine for a longer period.
